We're strategists first. Accountants second.

Most financial firms focus on keeping you compliant. We focus on helping you grow - and making sure you actually keep what you earn along the way.

Keep What You Earn was built on a simple belief: the financial expertise that Fortune 50 companies take for granted should be accessible to the small business owners who need it most.

We specialize in medical aesthetic practices because we know the industry, we know the numbers, and we know exactly what it takes to build a practice that's profitable, scalable, and worth something when it's time to sell.

Why Clients Choose Us

We cheerlead and challenge

We're in your corner but we'll tell you the truth even when it's uncomfortable. Our job is to tell you the truth about your numbers and help you do something about it.

We protect your data like it's our own.

We prioritize cybersecurity and have a CISO function to help ensure protection and sound practices across our virtual firm.

We work across practices like yours.

Because we serve multiple practices at once, we see what's working across the industry in real time. You benefit from that perspective every time we meet.

Our entire team is US-based.

We don't outsource or offshore. We believe in investing in the next generation of accounting talent here at home and we're not willing to trade quality for cost savings.

Meet Shannon

Shannon Weinstein became a CPA because she lost a bet with her dad. Seriously.

But long before that, she was learning about money at the kitchen table and running operations at a McDonald's franchise at 16. Those early lessons stuck and they shaped how she thinks about business today.

After 15+ years in Big Four accounting and corporate finance, serving Fortune 50 bottom lines, Shannon made a decision: take everything she'd learned at the highest levels of finance and put it to work for small business owners instead.

She founded Keep What You Earn to do exactly that, with a focus on medical aesthetic practices that are generating real revenue but haven't yet built the financial infrastructure to match.

Today she hosts the Keep What You Earn podcast, one of the top 1% globally ranked business podcasts, where she breaks down what it actually takes to scale a practice profitably and build something you can eventually sell on your terms.

Her superpower is making complex financial concepts feel simple - not because she dumbs them down, but because she genuinely believes every business owner deserves to understand their numbers.

A Big Part of our Why

We believe financial education isn't a privilege — it's something every person deserves access to. That belief drives everything we do, including how we invest in our community.

We believe to our core that financial education is not a privilege but something everyone is entitled to. That is why we partner with JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT to help further this mission.

We donate a portion of CFO client fees every single month to this organization and we volunteer regularly.

Junior Achievement providesfinancial and business education programs to students from elementary through high school, using practical examples and real life scenarios.

We are honored to sponsor Girls Positivity Club, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering young girls by providing the tools they  need to build confidence, develop leadership skills, and find a supportive community.

Through our sponsorship of one girl per client, girls will have access to an 8-week program where they’ll participate in hands-on activities designed to boost self-esteem, teach problem-solving, and encourage teamwork.

Each girl will benefit from mentorship and guidance, helping her gain the confidence to express herself, take on new challenges, and lead by example in her school and community. By sponsoring these programs, we are directly investing in the future leaders of tomorrow—helping young girls believe in their potential, build resilience, and embrace their role as positive changemakers.

Not just reports. Not just compliance. Clarity that empowers you to build something worth keeping.
